Regional and Territory Managers

  1. David Miller

    As Regional Manager for Appalachia Mr. Miller is responsible for directing eight branches in the states of Virginia, West Virginia, Eastern Kentucky and Pennsylvania.

    Prior to joining United Central, Mr. Miller spent eight years with Fastenal as General Manager and ultimately as Business Development Specialist.

    Mr. Miller earned his BS Degree in Business Administration from Emory & Henry College.

  2. Joe Vendetti

    Mr. Vendetti joined United Central in 2007 as branch manager for the Rock Springs, Wyoming location. Previously, he was employed as a recruiter for Maxim Healthcare services. He is a graduate of the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics.

  3. Dennis Monarch

    As Regional Manager for the Midwest, Mr. Monarch is responsible for directing four branches in the states of Alabama, Illinois and Western Kentucky.

    Prior to joining United Central, Mr. Monarch was VP of Branch Operations and principal with Gooding Rubber for 31 years until Gooding was acquired by United Central in 2011.

    Mr. Monarch attended the University of Southern Indiana with a focus on business management.

  4. Don Schmidt

    Mr. Schmidt started his mining career with Erwin Supply in Shinnston, WV, as an inside sales support specialist and later as inside sales coordinator. He was later promoted to outside sales representative managing a sales territory in Northern WV. In 1992 he was promoted to assistant sales manager. In 1994 Erwin Supply was acquired by United Central Industrial Supply and at that time he was promoted to the leadership role of Branch Manager of Shinnston, WV. He has served in the capacity of territory manager for Southern PA and Northern WV since 2013. He attended Fairmont State University majoring in Engineering Technology.

  5. Brian Tewalt

    As a regional manager, Mr. Tewalt is responsible for leading the sales and operations teams of UC’s eight Western locations. The majority of Mr. Tewalt's career in distribution has been spent at Fastenal where he held positions in sales, branch management and for the last five years as a District Manager where he managed a territory covering all of New Mexico and a portion of Western Texas. In his tenure with Fastenal, Brian has experience with a wide range of customers, including mining, oil & gas and general industry.
